Recreation Center Supervisor

Christopher Choice joined the Campus Recreation team in April 2023 after 15 years working at the Lauigner Library. Born in Cleveland, OH and raised in Price George’s County, MD he attended the University of Maryland to continue his education and to play football. Chris has two amazing daughters, Caniyah and London. He loves to travel, animals, sports, and being a dad!

Chris’ position as Recreation Center means he helps to oversee the daily operation of Campus Recreation facilities while maintaining a safe environment for Campus Rec users. Duties of the Recreation Center Supervisor include but are not limited to enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring Campus Rec user activities to ensure safety, securing the facilities, resolving complaints, problems, and requests from facility users. The Recreation Center Supervisor inspects the building to ensure that all systems are working correctly. They make minor repairs in the facilities and submit work orders to Facility Management when necessary.
