Ava Todd joined the Campus Recreation team in March 2025 as the Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness.

Before coming to Georgetown, Ava managed a nonprofit program dedicated to making tennis more accessible to low-income youth in the D.C. metro area. She also spent two years as a college counselor in North Carolina and has been a certified fitness instructor since 2014.

Ava earned her B.A. from Davidson College, where she played on the women’s tennis team, and her M.A. in Higher Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. While at UMD, Ava taught group fitness classes and supported various student well-being initiatives through the Campus Recreation department, which spurred her passion for this line of work.

In her spare time, Ava enjoys traveling, catching up on her favorite tv shows, and finding new and exciting ways to stay active.
