For experienced swimmers or novices hoping to learn a new stroke, the Aquatics department at Yates Field House offers a variety of programs to serve members of the campus community. Each semester, we offer a variety of group swimming lessons to serve both beginner and intermediate skill levels. For more personalized instruction on technique, we offer private swim lessons with a dedicated, experienced instructor. For open swimmers, be sure to check our Pool Schedule and Pool Rules for your knowledge and safety. For questions or concerns, we encourage patrons to consult the lifeguard on duty.
Children's Group Swim Lessons
Children ages 2.5-10 can learn and enhance their skills in groups of swimmers with similar ability.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Offered for all ages, private and semi-private lessons grant swimmers specific, one-on-one instruction.
For patrons interested in pursuing a Lifeguarding certificate, Yates Field House also offers American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification courses.
