Group Fitness

Our Group Fitness program offers a great way to stay in shape while having fun! We are currently hosting cardio-based, strength-based, and mind/body group fitness classes. All classes are taught by Nationally Certified Instructors and are designed to meet the wide variety of needs and interests of all ages, fitness levels, and abilities. Come join us!

Eligibility 

Group fitness classes are available, and free, to all Campus Recreation members. (Georgetown students are automatically enrolled in membership.)

Georgetown faculty, staff, alumni and community members can find information about memberships here.

Individuals under the age of 16 are not permitted to attend Group Fitness classes.

How to Attend a Group Fitness Class

To attend a Campus Recreation Group Fitness class, please register via IMLeagues. Instructions for creating a free IMLeagues account can be found here.

You can register up to one week in advance of the scheduled class time. On-site, drop-in registration is permitted through the instructor, as long as space is available in the class.

Please arrive at the designated location 5-10 minutes before the start time of the class.

Private Group Fitness Class Requests

Interested in hosting a group fitness class for your group? We offer private classes, taught by one of our certified instructors, for student organizations, club and athletic teams, campus departments, and other campus affiliates! We are able to tailor the session to your organization’s needs and offer a variety of class formats suitable for all fitness levels.
