Class Descriptions
Aqua Exercise
A low-impact, high intensity water aerobics class where no swimming skills are needed. This class will be held in shallow water and is designed to improve flexibility, range of motion, strength, muscle tone and cardiovascular endurance while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees and back. Exercises are performed to lively, motivating music and are effective and easy to follow. Participants are welcome to wear swimming caps, but not necessary.
Aqua Jogging
This is a no-impact, high-intensity class that emphasizes cardiovascular strength and endurance as well as flexibility, range of motion, and core strength. Classes are held in the deeper water of the pool, and participants will use flotation belts. No swimming skills are necessary. This class will be of particular benefit to runners and other active exercisers who are looking for a challenging workout as a low-impact alternative to conditioning on land. Participants are welcome to wear swimming caps, but they are not necessary.
Barre
A low-impact class designed to strengthen, tone, and balance the entire body with small isolated movements.
BEAT
BEAT (Barbell Exercises At Tempo) is a full-body, rhythmic weightlifting workout. Each track works a muscular group through the use of a barbell, paired with free-weights and bodyweight. BEAT exercises are set to world music rhythms to increase functional strength, power, control, and endurance. BEAT is designed for every fitness level.
Core Training
A circuit-style workout incorporating a variety of exercises that target different areas of your core, including abs, glutes, back and hips.
Endura-Flex
Moderately intense with a primary focus on movement precision, ENDURA-FLEX begins with an extended 10-minute warmup consisting of dynamic movements at mid-tempo. A subsequent block emphasizing proper stretch-and-flexing strength work follows before moving on to balance and cardio segments. Capitalizing on a warm-and-loosened body, the session culminates with static stretches to compliment each day’s exercises. All fitness levels welcome!
HIIT
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) uses bursts of intense exercise followed by brief recovery periods to spike your heart rate, challenge your strength, and grow your endurance. Working periods will incorporate cardio and strength-based exercises in both bodyweight and weighted formats.
Human Reformer™ Pilates
In Human Reformer™ Pilates class, participants harness the potential of their own body, using it as the ultimate reformer. With just 1 resistance band, participants can capture all the postural, core, and alignment challenges that reformer work is famous for– courtesy of Pilates mat programming that mirrors traditional reformer exercises.
Restorative Yoga: Flow and Restore
Combining invigorating dynamic movements with gentle restorative postures, Flow & Restore is a balanced practice suitable for all levels. Class begins with a vinyasa-style flow to warm up and build energy, and ends with supported restorative postures using props like bolsters and blankets to wind down, calming the body and mind.
Spinning®
An all-terrain ride that will burn calories, build strength, and improve fitness. The energetic music motivates each rider through a variety of speed and resistance challenges. Each class will take you on a creatively designed ride to maximize your fitness potential. All Fitness levels welcome!
Strength Circuit
All strength, all day. This class will target all major muscle groups through compound movements and isolated muscle exercises, performed in supersets or trisets to maximize your work. Exercises will feature a variety of equipment including barbells, dumbbells, and resistance bands.
Stretch & Mobility
This class incorporates standing and seated positions to target all major muscle groups through dynamic stretching (moving through a range of motion that stretches your muscles) and static stretching (holding a position for a set amount of time). Add this class into your schedule to help you fight stress, decrease the potential for injury and stay pain-free. Open to all fitness levels!
Total Body Conditioning
This high-energy class combines strength training, cardio, and flexibility exercises to target every muscle group for a full-body workout. Suitable for all fitness levels, this class is designed to boost your endurance, tone muscles, and enhance overall fitness.
Vinyasa Yoga
A dynamic yoga class that creates a continuous flow between poses, focusing on breath, strength, flexibility, balance, and awareness.
Zumba
A dynamic, full-body workout inspired by Latin dance and music. Zumba uses a variety of styles in its routines, including cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, afrobeats, hip-hop, pop, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and calypso. No dance experience required.
