CPR/First Aid Training

Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Classes

Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult CPR/AED valid for two years.  Classes are held in the Spinning Room at Yates Field House.

Session III: Friday, March 17th: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Session IV: Friday, April 7th: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Class Fees:  

  • Georgetown University affiliated (Faculty, Staff, and Students) - $40.00  
  • Non- Georgetown University affiliated (Community Members) - $70.00

CPR for the Professional Rescuer: Dates TBD

The purpose of this course is to train professional rescuers (those with a duty to act and provide care) in the skills necessary to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies, including the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. This course is required for lifeguards and certification is good for one year.
