How Do YOU Yates: Yates Field House Celebrates National Recreation Day

This Friday, join Yates Field House to observe National Recreational Sports and Fitness Day, recognized every year by the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA). National Rec Day was established to celebrate the founding of NIRSA, as well as promote habits of health and wellbeing in our communities.

Yates Field House is celebrating recreation through free and fun activities all day on Friday, February 5th. Yates Field House membersĀ are invited to participate in Group Fitness Classes, Cornhole, Battleship, Log Rolling, and more.

In addition to your favorite recreation activities, live music and free food will be provided. Enjoy entertainment from a live DJ on the fitness floor in the afternoon and at the pool in the evening. Free pizza will be served on the Yates mezzanine starting at 5PM.

Yates is encouraging Georgetown to get out and get active in celebration of National Rec Day. Join us on Friday and show the community #HowDoYouYates!

3PM: Cornhole begins, Mezzanine
3:30-4:30PM: Free Pi-Yo Class, Studio A
5PM: Free Pizza served, Mezzanine
5:45-6:45: Free HIIT Class, Studio A
7PM: Battleship and Log Rolling, Pool Deck
