Social Media Challenges

• Follow @yatesfieldhouse on Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter.

• When a challenge is posted, you’ll see a description of the challenge, a sample photo or video, and the prize(s) for the week.

• When posting a photo or video, tag @yatesfieldhouse and use the challenge hashtag included in the description. *For Instagram submissions, if your account is private, please message us with your entry.

• Limit one entry per person per challenge. 

• All Georgetown students, faculty/staff, alumni, community members, and friends of Georgetown affiliates are welcome to participate.

• Each challenge lasts one week. Each challenge will begin on Monday and end on the following Sunday at 11:59 p.m. You must post before the Sunday deadline to be eligible for the weekly prize. The winner of each challenge will be drawn randomly and announced in Yates Field House’s Instagram Stories the following Monday.

• All participants are expected to adhere to and abide by the Campus Recreation at Yates Field House policies.

We’re partnering with Outdoor Education to offer you two challenges during the month of June! Our first is for those with a green thumb. Whether it’s a single potted plant in your room or a large garden filled with veggies, we want to see your garden! Post a picture of your garden on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter by Tuesday, June 30th for a chance to win a prize.

Fish Out of Water Challenge

Calling all swimmers! Feeling like a fish out of water? For our next challenge, we want to see how you’re ‘swimming’ outside of McCarthy Pool!
